According to the characteristics of trehalose, protein-extracted samples with this detergent may be less denatured and keep protein functions. Therefore, the trehalose detergent can be used in the field of proteomics research. There are 5 kinds of Trehalose detergents available, with different alkyl chains from 8 to 16.
