How we began
As a subsidiary of Dojindo Laboratories in Japan, Dojindo Molecular Technologies, Inc. opened its doors in Gaithersburg, MD as the main facility for new product development. Products such as DNA Damage Quantification Kit, SOD Assay Kit-WST, Labeling Kits series were developed, providing ready-to-use assay kits for customers around the world.
Dojindo Molecular Technologies, Inc. became an additional sales location, bringing Dojindo products to the hands of research professionals in the North American Region.
We relocated to Rockville, MD to focus solely on the sales and marketing activities in North America. Our current location brings is in close proximity to the researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institutes (NCI), FDA, Johns Hopkins University.
We continue to offer Japanese quality customer support and innovative products to not only to the surrounding area, but to our customers in the U.S., Canada, and South America.

Dojindo Laboratories was the first Japanese company to commercialize EDTA (ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid) in 1951.
